Our name carries two meanings:

초 (Cho): The Korean word for beginning and beauty

Founder's Message
I spent nearly a decade in finance - a world of intensity, stress, and little time for self-care. Years of sensitive, reactive skin finally caught up with me, taking a visible toll on my skin barrier and overall health. I chose to step away from speed and certainty, and toward intention, happiness, and deeper purpose.
Through traveling across Asia and the Middle East, I experienced firsthand how profoundly the environment shapes our skin - the heat, cold, humidity, and constant air-conditioning. Different climates, but the same need: functional skincare built for sensitive skin.
That search led me to Korea, where traditional skincare philosophy, mindful living, and advanced beauty science come together. Working closely with leading labs, formulators, and dermatologists, I began creating formulas centered on gentle, effective, and climate-adaptive ingredients designed to support skin through the daily stressors of real life.
What began as a personal search became a 1.5-year journey of purpose: to help more people regain confidence through barrier-first skincare, by reimagining formulas that fuse time-honored philosophy with science-backed innovation.
